Boeing Aims to Make Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Facilities More Environmentally Progressive
Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. Boeing (NYSE: BA) 14 May 2008  Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services, Tsinghua University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are hosting a competition for college students from select universities in the United States and China to create more environmentally progressive ways of operating an aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility.

Continental Airlines Announces CFO Succession Plan
Houston, Texas, U.S.A 13 May 2008  Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) announced that its executive vice president and chief financial officer, Jeff Misner, has informed the company that he has decided to retire effective Aug. 31, 2008, following his 55th birthday. "Jeff has made great contributions to Continental during his 13 year tenure," said Larry Kellner, Continental's chairman and chief executive officer. "He has been a valued and trusted member of our senior management team, and everyone will miss him. We wish him well in his retirement."

Embraer Plans to Expand Its Operations in the U.S.
Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil 13 May 2008  Embraer announced, today, in the presence of Mayor Harry Goode, of the City of Melbourne, Florida, Governor Charlie Crist of the State of Florida, Enterprise Florida, and other state and local officials, that it plans to invest an estimated US$ 50 million for the establishment of a new facility in the United States dedicated to its executive jets business.

Iraq to Orders 30 Boeing Commercial Airplanes Valued at US$ 2.2 Billion
Baghdad, Iraq 06 May 2008  Boeing (NYSE: BA) and the Government of Iraq announced an order for 30 Boeing 737-800 commercial airplanes, the first step in re-establishing that country's scheduled commercial aviation operations. Iraq has also contracted options for 10 additional 737s.

Royal Aviation Kuwait & Mercury Air Group Open New Royal Terminal
Kuwait 06 May 2008  Mercury Air Group, Inc., the U.S. based aviation services provider, has started flight operations at the Royal Terminal, Kuwait, the largest private aviation terminal in the Middle East, located at Kuwait International Airport. The facility is owned by Royal Aviation Kuwait. Designed and constructed by Mott MacDonald Group of London, England and Gulf Consult of Saudi Arabia, the Royal Terminal has more than 100,000 sq. ft. (10,000 sq. meters) on three levels and incorporates an ultra-modern design blending aerodynamic architectural features with panoramic glass vistas.
